The moment has arrived .ME registrations are now being acceptedon a first come first serve basis at most reputable registrars.

.ME Goes Live

.ME the new extension for Montenegro is expected to be a popular new extension, especially amongst domain hackers. The .ME extension is allready being marketed as a fun personal domain which will no doubt be popular for hacks but it may not be so popular for other uses, time will tell. .ME is also thought to replace the somewhat unloved .name extension allthough this is unconformed at this stage.

There are currently no restrictions as to who can register a ME domain name however a .ME registration may require a two year registration at some registars, so make sure you have plenty of pennies in your pocket before you go and register one.
